A company by creatives, for creatives.

A small company based in Devon, United Kingdom, the team at Resurrectionist Games have created Board Games and Card Games for major IPs, and are currently developing their first TTRPG—which has been percolating for years and will soon be ready to go public.

At Resurrectionist Games, we strive to embody our values in everything we do:

Keep discovery and creativity at the forefront, empower and support our communities, and put people before profit.

Benjamin Maunder

Hi, I'm Ben Maunder, Narrative and Design Director of Resurrectionist Games and Lead Writer at Modiphius.

Basically; I write a lot of words.

Those words exist in TTRPG manuscripts, rules documents, press copy— anything and everything in the tabletop industry! I've written for Fallout, Discworld, DOOM, Achtung! Cthuhlu, Chalice, and a slew of things that I can't talk about. I've also spent a lot of time planning and producing products, directing art and working with creatives more talented than me.

Outside of work, I tend to bleed hours into playing the games I help make, staring at Magic cards, reading and playing a 'healthy' amount of PS5 games.

More than anything, I want to be involved in making the best of the best experiences players can get their hands on: games that spark genuine enjoyment and leave a mark in the mind.

CJ Gahagan

Hello! I'm CJ Gahagan, CEO of Resurrectionist Games .

My own creator credits include work with Modiphius, Onyx Path, Rowan, Rook and Decard, Ink & Lyre, Stardust & Dragons, and more. My business achievements are far less interesting, but you can find a number of them on my LinkedIn if you’re keen.

I am a former cosplayer who loves travel, food, DIY, and antiques. I'm passionate about games and books—my favourite thing about checking out new components is getting to rip paper samples to look at the core.

I have recently taken up a position in Advocacy when I’m not working on our company. I’m a firm believer in empowering others and always looking for ways to better myself, as well. As a queer, mixed designer, I am passionate about platforming creatives with a variety of backgrounds and working with the community to bring everyone together. After all, there's more than enough pie to go around.

Holly Healey

Hey there! I’m Holly Healey, Head of Events and Community at Resurrectionist Games.

I struggled to write the perfect bio, so instead, I’ll say this:

I love stories. I love games. I love music. All of these things have shaped who I am and how I view the world.

Before joining the gaming industry, I studied all things music. I play guitar and bass, and sometimes dabble in piano. I have also finished a 3 year stint as an Artist Liaison, which I did at multiple festivals across Devon and the UK.

Some of my favourite games to play when with my friends are Magic the Gathering (Although I never win), Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Dungeons and Dragons.

Lyn Williams

Hey there! I'm Lyn, the Art Director here at Resurrectionist Games. I'm a traditional artist using mediums including pen, ink, watercolour and gouache, across a number of subjects from architecture to sci-fi to nature to horror—all for a range of projects from commissions to competitions. I also live stream what I do on Twitch as part of an amazing creative community there.

I came to TTRPGs after attending a D&D one shot hosted by Ben and I was hooked. I've loved the escapism and fantasy that these games offer, and much more so when sessions inspire me to get creative. Hearing about worlds that feel lived in and characters with lots of well, character, gives me a lot of drive to bring them to life visually.

Other than art I can often be found playing Final Fantasy 14 which I am a huge fan of, as well as other RPGs like Dragon Age, Fallout, The Outer Worlds, Dishonored...the list is probably way too long to include here. I also love to cook, knit, and bounce around the kitchen to cheesy pop.

Overall, I don't take myself too seriously, but I am committed to accurately bringing ideas to life, and encouraging creativity in others. Art should always be inclusive.
